    Hi @mamesuke,

Can you try saving the HTML5 Viewer on your viewer machine then see if works on your end? For additional details, you may refer to the User Manual under the section Run on any Machine in HTML5 Web browser. Thank you!

    Hi @dweaver, @tm_beetle, @a-szwajkajzercrlf-pl, @fer_srm,

we have managed to reproduce the issue with a Samsung Galaxy S24 device that had spacedesk installed after its first bootup. The issue was also present in similar screen-sharing apps. The solution for it was to do an Android system and security patch update. Afterwards, we were not able to reproduce the issue anymore. Let us know if it fixes the issue on your side.

    Server PC: Windows 11 Enterprise
    ⇒Spacedesk Driver:v2.1.23
Client PC: Mac OS Monterey ver 12.7.6

In the above environment, I want to use the spacedesk HTML5 VIEWER on the Client PC to view the screen of the Server PC.
However, starting last week, the connection suddenly stopped working, and I am unsure of the cause.
    Could you provide some advice?
The network address specified in the HTML5 VIEWER was correct. When I try to connect,
the error message ‘Could not connect. Connection Timeout. Make sure your Server-IP is correct.’ appears.

    Hi @xium,

Have you tried using other devices as your viewer to see if the issue also happens there?
Also, for further analysis of the issue, please send us the logs of your server machine by opening the spacedesk Driver console and clicking on Diagnostics then follow the steps below:

    1. Download the DebugView.
    2. Check the Diagnostic Collection box.
    3. Reproduce the issue e.g. by connecting the spacedesk Viewer app with your S9 FE+.
    4. Uncheck the Diagnostic Collection box.
    5. Click “Save All Information” button (this might take a while to finish).
    6. Compress/Zip the folder which contains the logs, then attach to your next reply to this post.

If the file size exceeds 512 KB, you may upload it to Dropbox then include the download link on your next reply.

    Thanks!

I see, i will have to figure out why suddenly Kaspersky flags on PC PC spacedesk as a Trojan, im using older version for now and i have no problem for now. I will let you know in case i know something new. Im using only spacedesk from your official site but i have to say i did a update through app and after that it got flagged when new version opened.

    Hi @cattaker,

We have no information of any antivirus system flagging spacedesk as a virus.
If anybody has similar problems, please report here.
Please also make sure that you download spacedesk drivers only from our original spacedesk website http://www.spacedesk.net

PS: We just tested with Kaspersky with spacedesk active. Kaspersky detected nothing. We also wouldn’t know any reason why antivirus software should flag spacedesk. spacedesk only uses standard Windows operating system features.

    Hi @factorysub34,

this is a behavior of Windows graphics database and spacedesk does not have control to this.
We can only suggest to use the same resolution of the main monitor in the spacedesk viewer app.
Also, it might be easier for you to change to duplication using display switch (Win+P keys).

if you have HDR or 10-bit pixel format enabled, please disable it in Windows display settings or in the graphics adapter (e.g. Nvidia or AMD) control panel.
Both features are not supported by spacedesk.

Today I tried to connect to spacedesk on the local computer but it didn’t work. It worked before, for a long time, but now I can’t make it connect.

Windows 11, connecting from a browser client (just waits for some time and turns the page red: Could not connect. Connection Timeout. Make sure your Server-IP is correct) and from spacedesk VIEWER (Cannot detect Server!)

Updated the driver from the spacedesk console.
    Restarted the computer.
Double-checked the IP address in the web client and the console.
Checked Windows Firewall exceptions; both spacedesk and spacedesk service are enabled.

    What else could be wrong?

Ran the diagnostics, logs are attached as described in console.

    Pls help!

Hi, oh I understand that one.
    Sorry, I clarify again.

I want to use spacedesk on the tablet to pickup/show PowerPoint presenter view but I want to show on the projector screen the PowerPoint slides.

Hence, I’m just wondering if possible or settings in spacedesk to pick pp presenter view.

Note: I use extend display from a laptop so I’m guessing it is not possible because it will display to both tablet and projector the same pp slides.

My Spacedesk on Galaxy Tab S9 FE cannot detect any primary device via Wifi. I’ve connected the laptop and the tablet to the same wifi and network band 5Ghz. I’ve allowed the app to go through the firewall. I don’t have any VPN or third-party firewall apps running, either. However, the USB Cable Android works.

I attached the diagnostics as guided in the app. Please suggest a way to connect via wifi.

    Hi @rizzie,

Thank you for sending your DirectX info. Upon our investigation, the likely cause of the rendering failure encountered in your viewer device is your graphics driver. does it also lag while dragging a window or video playback on the spacedesk display?
It is unusual to have performance issues when connecting by USB cable.

    – Look for spacedesk virtual Bus and expand it.

    Hello @rizzie,

Upon checking your diagnostics, there are no problems in your server machine. Just to clarify, on which device are you playing a video or opening a browser, on the server or the viewer? Does the viewer crash when the freeze happens or do you close then reopen it? Also, to further assist you on your issue, may we also ask for logs from your viewer device by following the steps below?

    1. On your secondary machine where you run the spacedesk Viewer app, please download the DebugView app thru this link: https://download.sysinternals.com/files/DebugView.zip
    2. Right-click -> Extract the contents of the DebugView.zip, and run the Dbgview.exe as administrator.
    3. In the Capture tab, make sure to check the “Capture Win32”
    4. Run the spacedesk Viewer app and connect to your server machine and try to reproduce the issue.
    5. In the DebugView window, there should be spacedesk viewer traces starting with “SA [xxxx:xxxx]:SAxxxxx…..”

Please save the DebugView traces into a log file, and make sure to change the format to .txt file before attaching it to your reply. Thank you.

Understood. I was able to get the iPad to connect to spacedesk with a USB-C to USB and didn’t get the not enough power warning but noticed the iPad said “Not Charging”. There seemed like a lot of lag on the mouse/pointer. Any thoughts? I’m not able to connect over WiFi because the PC is a desktop with a wired internet connection.

Hi, I’ll try to be more specific. If I install spacedesk on the pc and not yet start it on the android tab all goes well, whether I turn spacedesk on the computer on or off does not matter. Please note the screenshot “starting point”. Please note the settings: usb is off, spacedesk is on and recognizes my dual 10gb network cards. Then I exit icue and restart Icue, all is still ok.
Now I turn on my android tab and start spacedesk on the samsung tab 3. It connects the screen, so spacedesk works. When I now exit Icue and restart (or reboot or start the computer) Icue crashes. No malfunctioning items in device manager. See screenshot “Crash”. With the computer still on, I then turn off spacedesk on the computer, and Icue can be started again and works (see screenshot “works again”). Strangely while turning off Spacedesk, it get a beep in windows which normally indicates it stops a usb device, while I have usb turned off in Spacedesk. If I turn spacedesk on, I get a beep that I think indicates it starts a usb device again (even while usb connection is turned off. To me as an amateur it seems like this usb thing kills Icue…. If you have further questions, please let me know Edward

    Hi @mintt,

this issue is caused by Oracle VirtualBox, not spacedesk. We could verify that it even happens without spacedesk installed. You can read up more information here.

To resolve this issue, open Control Panel, then click on Programs and Feaures, uninstall “Oracle VM VirtualBox Guest Additions” then restart your PC.

Let us know if this fixes your bluescreen problem. Thank you!
