I am unable to uninstall the 1.0.7 version because Windows doesn’t recognise it as a valid installer.
Please see attachment for message.
I tried installing 1.0.8 and it wouldn’t install because of the previous version. I then tried to uninstall the previous version and had this pop up.
WTF
server: v1.0.7 win10 21H2
secondary machine: surface go 2 ; v0.0.23.0; win 10 20H2Unable to connect to server wirelessly. However my Android phone can connect server.
I think it is the bug of the app on my secondary machine…
Here is the video ↓
Looking forward to the solutions. Thanks!
[Closed]Topic: Deletion of one of my videos that is on your website (Youtube)

Thanks greetings.I have been using and updating Spacedesk for about 2 years so far.
I am using it between Windows 8.1 and Android Lollipop.
It was more stable a while ago at around version 0.9.44 .
The current issue now is that as soon as I connect the Windows explorer hangs and I need to restart the explorer.exe and sometimes it would keep on hanging until I stop the Spacedesk service and starting it again.
This issue showed up in the past 2 updates. I am not sure if this issue started after I did a Windows update or just from the latest Spacedesk updates. I do have over 50 programs running in the background as well but even with it, it was always more stable than it has been lately.
Spacedesk has been at Beta for a several years since it started. I assume that is because it is not easy to get it to be 100% stable. Will it always be free or is that just during the Beta testing phase? (All other similar products are not free).
Let me know if you need more information. I will most probably be downgrading it back to an older version by the end of this week.
The Graphics card is Intel.
Spacedesk an amazing program, just needs to be more stable.
[Closed]Topic: Display turned off, black screen
Hi i have an old HP Pavilion G4-1311AU laptop running the latest version of Windows 10 Pro. Recently i’ve tried to install Spacedesk on my laptop but i was experiencing an issue which is the installation process stopped and my display turned off.
I took the battery out and tried to reboot the laptop but nothing happened, the screen does’nt turned on but the machine runs.
Right before i smash my laptop with a hammer, a revelation came to my head and told me to plug out then plug in my LCD or display cable, so i stripped down my laptop and did it then now my display turned on.
What cause of my problem? What i have to do to successfully install Spacedesk on my old laptop?
Thank you
PS: Sorry for bad english.
[Closed]Topic: [Bug 1.0.7] Can’t open setting after restart computer
Sorry if this is not right place to report a bug.
I have a problem that I can’t open setting/menu of spacedesk after restarting my machine. When just updated to 1.0.7, I still could open the setting. But after restarting, I can’t open it. both opening from spacedesk window or taskbar icon. Here a video that show the bug: https://u.pcloud.link/publink/show?code=XZpbXxXZPeM0Th45MajqHcvPKHJdMbIFXXwX.
Repairing installation can fix it, but the bug back again when I restart my machine. However, this not happen when 1.0.6.
I’m on Windows 10 pro 20H2 64x
Spacedesk driver beta 1.0.7[Closed]Topic: roadmap
Hi,
first of all, I am presently using spacedesk and I am loving it.
I have seen your intended releases of two versions: a free viewer and a viewer pro in Q3.
Now I have studied the announced features. There are two things I am curious to know:
1. at present, the viewer is free but it has a touchscreen support, doesn’t it ?. Does that mean that
the later free versions are downgrades merely capable of supporting touchpad-style functionalities ?
2. will the viewer pro be a one time purchase or one of these terrible subscriptions ?
Hope you can already share some insights.
Kind Regards, virtualaHello, dear developer;)
I’m a user from China. I found a problem when using it
Environment: win10 (main display, spacedesk version 1.0.7), Android (secondary display, spacedesk version 0.9.55)
There was no problem with NVIDIA driver version 27.21.14.6647, but after I upgraded to version 27.21.14.7141, I could only cast the screen on Android instead of clicking the mouse on the control installation. I don’t know if it doesn’t support the latest version of driver. I can only return NVIDIA driver version 27.21.14.6647 (solved the problem)
PS: when will the official version come out? expect
PS:The above comes from translation softwareHi, I was able to use my Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite S-Pen yesterday. However, the feature can not be and it prompts up the msg.
Unsupported feature on server-side
You cannot use the stylus feature with your current Windows-PC spacedesk Driver.Thereafter, I have download and install the latest version of spacedesk v1.0.7. However, the issue remains unresolved. Please help.
Topic: freezes the screen
Good day, I ran into such a problem, when I connect a second monitor (laptop) and throw something on it, then with a time of literally 5-10 seconds the picture will freeze, in a second 2-3, and so every 20-30 seconds. Before reinstalling windows, everything was fine, I don’t know what to do.
Hello, I’m using windows 10 where I had spacedesk installed for a long time. Recently I created a new windows user and I wanted to use spacedesk there too. But I couldn’t and I couldn’t install spacedesk either so I tried uninstalling it from the main account. When I didn’t succeed I deleted the second windows account and went to reinstall spacedesk on the primary account.
spacedesk Windows DRIVER Setup gives a message that there’s already a version installed and asks if I would like to update it. Then it proceeds to get stuck. The driver doesn’t install. Is there anything that I can do?I have two 10 inch Android tablets connected via WiFi Direct. This works great, but on one tablet as soon as I touch the screen the Windows desktop pointer disappears. Everything functions correctly apart from that, I can use my finger to move and select items as normal, just with no visible Windows mouse pointer. The pointer functions correctly on the other tablet.
This seems to happen after I connect a second tablet, the pointer will function normally on the last connected tablet and stops working on the first one. I am not sure exactly at which point this happens but it seems related to start order.
It is not a problem restricted to one particular tablet, I can get the pointer to work on either of them depending on which one I connect first.
Both tablets are the same make, model, and software versions, and I cannot find any difference in any of their settings.
[Closed]Topic: Is spacedesk VIEWER fullscreen mode possible?
Hello all,
maybe spacedesk is not intended for this, but I was hoping to find a more comfortable replacement for the standard Miracast screen transmission.
Miracast let me use the full display of the attached Win10 tablet as desktop. It’s just like using an external monitor.
spacedesk VIEWER is always displayed as window on the desktop of the attached Win10 tablet. Maximizing VIEWER results in a maximized windo and not in full screen. I can hide system tray. Then the spacedesk VIEWER window gets more space and resizes. But there’s still the spacedesk VIEWER title bar. How could I get rid of this title bar? With title bar there is a useless space right and left of the spacedesk VIEWER window. I guess if there will be no title bar, I will get the whole tablet screen as display – just like an external monitor…
Maybe there’s a hidden setting or I oversee something.
Hopefully someone knows a solution to my requirement. Thanks in advance!

I’ve been using space desk V0973_BETA with Windows 7 home premium 64-bit and an older iPad. It’s been wonderful!
Yesterday I updated the iPad app to iOS app to V 1.0.41 now when I try to connect space desk flashes on the screen and crashes and goes in the background. If I shut off Wi-Fi I can view the space desk app but as soon as I try to connect via Wi-Fi it seems to crash and just brings me to my iPad desktop. I have since updated the space test driver on the Windows PC to V102_BETA to see if that might help. Still no luck.I saw an older post that suggested turning off the native iOS device resolution I attempted to shut that off but it did not seem to help. I was hopeful you might have some information to get me up and running again. Thank you.
