    It seems like this is a network discovery issue on the iOS viewer app.
    Could you please check on your iPad Settings -> Privacy -> Local Network, if spacedesk is on the list and enabled?

    – click the Diagnostics on the left side panel
    – if Debug View is not available, please click the download button first
    – switch Diagnostic Collection ON
    – try connect your viewer app and reproduce the touch issue
    – switch Diagnostic Collection OFF
    – click Save All Information button
    PS: Saving all information will take a few seconds, then please send us the whole folder which contains all the diagnostic logs collected.
    Please right-click the folder -> Send to -> Compressed (zipped) folder, then attach the *.zip file on your next reply.

    I fixed the issue through a Windows Update Installation (keep personal data) and didnt reinstalled spacedesk after it.

    One additional informaton. Windows Sandbox also gets broken, and also got fixed by the update installation.

    Hello again,

    i’ve attached the logs. I also tried to reset via windows system restore(could help some people), in my case the restore wasn’t successfull at all.

    This is really important to me too.

    I started a topic on the old forum, which was replaced by this new one about 2 weeks after.

    I have 2 GPU’s, I keep the more powerful (RTX 3070 Ti) for gaming in the motherboards primary slot, however this ends up as GPU 1 in windows, This works fine for everything but spacedesk

    The 2nd card, a 730GT, so some reason loads into GPU 0, however spacedesk uses this card for the wireless display, which causes stuttering.

    There is no way in the BIOS to change this (check with the manufacture) (and I can see why a laptop would have problems).

    So, this feature to change the GPU in use, is really important.

    For further analysis, could you please send us the diagnostic logs.

    If you still have spacedesk installed on your machine, just click the spacedesk tray icon to open the spacedesk Driver Console, then go to Diagnostics page and click the “Save All Information”.
    PS: Saving all information will take a few seconds, then please send us the whole folder which contains all the diagnostic logs collected.

    If you already have uninstalled/removed spacedesk on your machine, then please send us the following logs:
    – dxdiag file (run dxdiag.exe then click “Save All Information”)
    – C:\Windows\INF\setupapi.dev.log

    Save all files in one folder then, right-click the folder -> Send to -> Compressed (zipped) folder, then attach the *.zip file on your next reply.

    Same problem here.
    Tried the usual fixes, like disable hyper-v, platform and wsl. Restart and renable, also doesn’t fix the problem.
    Uninstalling spacedesk does not fix the problem.

    Just let me know if you need further information about the enviroment.

    Hello Team,
    The software you guys have created is amazing although if a guide could be given regarding how to change the underlying GPU used by spacedesk, it would be amazing.
    Currently I have a laptop with a NVIDIA 1060 GPU although spacedesk uses the integrated GPU. I have made relevant changes in the setting for NVIDIA to be my default GPU everywhere but SPACEDESK doesn’t seem to take affect. I have attached the screenshots for the same.

    Expired BETA version! Old outdated spacedesk BETA versions turn to black and white colors after December 31st 2021. Just download newest spacedesk version of Server software for Windows PC from https://forum.spacedesk.net and newest spacedesk Viewer version from App store for iOS, Android or Windows.

    Could you please restart your primary machine, then try again to install the spacedesk.
    If the same problem still persist, please send us the following for analysis:
    – run dxdiag.exe on your primary machine, click “Save all information” and send us the output file
    – spacedeskSetup.log file located in C:\Users\Public
    – setupapi.dev.log file located in C:\Windows\INF

    Please save all requested files in one folder, then right-click -> Send to -> Compressed (zipped) folder, then attach the *.zip file on your next reply.

    Could you please try to connect via HTML5 Viewer on your iPad?
    Just open a web browser (e.g. Safari or Google Chrome) then go to http://viewer.spacedesk.net/, then try to connect to your primary machine’s IP address.

    By the way, I am using Spacedesk successfully with an Android tablet (Samsung Tab A). I am now trying to use it on my Galaxy S20 FE and am getting the error.

    I have turned of wifi on the tablet, restarted the phone, restarted the windows app just to make sure. Still getting the error.

    Happy to send you the logs if you can tell me where to find them.

    Hi Everyone, Trying to download the viewer from Microsoft Store which is “mission impossible” ! I get error msg code 0x80080204 every 4/5 second. I really don’t like this store which is always making in trouble with their connection and password. I already signal this problem to Microsoft but I don’t expect any answer before ………2030. I don’t understand why we need to go trough this store instead of the Spacedesk’s web site as for the drivers. Hello people from Space desk, spacedesk Lea Keymaster, please make thing more simple, I will appreciate, Thanks a lot, Jacques, alias babar66. Cheers everyone.

    Based on your other post, your primary machine operating system is Windows 7, right?

    spacedesk Windows 7 Primary Machine is not supported any more.
    Windows 7 life cycle has expired. Microsoft do not support Windows 7 any more – nor can we.
    The current spacedesk Driver for Windows 8.1 can still be installed on Windows 7.
    It works on many Windows 7 machines and configurations.
    On others it does not.
    These cases, we cannot support neither fix any more.

    Hi @syntax101,

    Is your android device connected to your new router’s wifi network too?

    Could you please check on your new router’s settings if the client/wifi isolation setting is enabled.
    If this setting is enabled, it will prevent a direct communication between connected devices.

    My mistake, now I noticed that you have Windows 7 primary machine.
    The new spacedesk Driver Console window is only available in the latest spacedesk Windows 10 driver.

    spacedesk Windows 7 Primary Machine is not supported any more.
    Windows 7 life cycle has expired. Microsoft do not support Windows 7 any more – nor can we.

    Hi.. the same issue with me.. i used this application for a while for productivity of my work..
    i used a modem as my router, however since the modem use only SIM for internet, i made a change of internet and now i have new router connected in my computer.. now using the spacedesk app i was not able to make connection to the server even if i add manually the ip address..

    before my address is 192.168.1.XXX .
    now with the new modem i have 192.168.524.xxx and was not able to make connection between the server and the android app..

    appreciate any help to resolve the issue.. ..

    I can’t make an iPad as a second monitor when I connect my iPad through spacedesk to my windows 7 PC (on iPad Wi-Fi, on PC Ethernet) Display-OFF is shown on the tablet for a second or something like that, on the PC they say we found duet drivers and some other (drivers of programs that I did not install at all except duet) help me!

    For example, if I duplicate FHD display on 2160×1080 screen phone, it stretches to fill the screen. I hope there is an option to leave the letterbox.

    I’m using Spacedesk with a tablet as a second screen with my laptop. the problem is whenever I use the tablet keyboard the language settings must be in English, and I cannot write accents properly (I am Spanish). Besides, some of the keys are somewhere else (for example, the dash symbol is where the dot symbol, and so on). The keyboard settings for both the tablet and Windows are in Spanish and outside the spacedesk screen on the tablet, I can write with Spanish language in the keyboard. How can I switch the language into the Spacedesk window?

    It was working well a few weeks back. But recently it is not working properly

    Can you further describe the problem? Cannot discover primary machine? Error code upon connection attempt?

    Could you please try the most recent spacedesk Driver 1.0.27 that we just released.
    If problem still persist, please click the Diagnostics in the spacedesk Driver Console apo then click the “Save All Information” button then send us the diagnostic folder (containing various diagnostic log files) which will be generated by the console app.
    Just right click the folder then Send to -> Compressed (zipped) folder, then attach the *.zip file on your next reply.

    I have renamed the spacedesk “log” to “txt” and have extracted the spacedesk portion of setupapi.

    To verify if the discovery issue is on android viewer app, could you please try to connect using HTML5 Viewer on your non working devices (e.g. Pixel 3).
    Just open a web browser (e.g. google chrome) then go to http://viewer.spacedesk.net/, then type the IP address of your primary machine to connect.

    Just switch the duplicated displays to Extension mode.
    On Windows display settings, please scroll down below on Multiple displays drop down menu, then select “Extend these displays”.

    Just discovered this amazing app and I am completely blown away by how incredibly well it works :O!

    I am able to use my iPhone as a second monitor, there’s touch enabled, it’s just like an external monitor where I can change all of its settings (resolution, orientation, text zoom, etc.), it runs well enough (not 60FPS there’s an option for 60FPS but it can lag a bit, but for my use case it’s good enough), it was super easy to set up, and best of all, it’s FREE!!

    I was watching The Game Awards 2021 last week and had the livestream on full screen on my laptop while chatting with some friends, and I quickly realized how awesome it would’ve been to have a smaller second monitor attached to my laptop to view the live event on full screen while effortlessly being able to chat with my friends on the smaller, second screen. This app made that ideal scenario come true, and I’m mind-boggled by how well it works 🙂

    My first reaction was to see if there was some way to donate to this incredible app, especially considering it’s free, but I have yet to find a way to donate…

    is this open source? is this being developed/maintained by a few passionate people? I can’t imagine this being part of a large corproate entity since it’s free and there doesn’t seem to be any pricing model I am aware of (I saw some licensing details, but couldn’t understand them).

    I’m overwhelmed by the positive experience I just had with Spacedesk, and I’m in the mood to donate right now, so if anyone knows on an option, that would be great 🙂

    Just tried to install SpaceDesk on my win10 pc. Install fails with the following log message

    Could you please check in the Windows Display Settings if there’s a detached secondary display?
    If it’s there, please attach it by selecting the “Extend these displays” in the Multiple displays dropdown menu.

    Do you have Nvidia ShadowPlay enabled?

    Ok, one device is connecting: Kindle Fire running Android app v0.9.86. Other Kindle fire running v0.9.87 will not connect, neither will Kindle fire running v0.9.88 or Pixel 3 running v0.9.88

    @lea, We have a few devices like Realwear Headsets. And Samsung Tablets running Knox which does not allow Google Play

    splashtop Windows 7 legacy WDDM driver (lci_proxywddm) is still installed on your Primary Machine.
    splashtop Wired XDisplay seems to leave garbage behind.
    splashtop Wired XDisplay seems to fail uninstalling their Windows 7 legacy WDDM driver on Windows 10.

    Funny: Why does splashtop WiredXDisplay even install such a broken Windows 7 legacy WDDM driver on Windows 10 in the first place? Their own product isn’t even using it…

    To remove this left behind splashtop Windows 7 legacy driver on Windows 10, just run Command Prompt as Administrator then type the command:
    sc delete lci_proxywddm press enter
    Then reboot your primary machine and try again with spacedesk.

    Now it works well, thanks for your patient reply. I like this program.

    I have no idea why this drive comes in my laptop, might be installed by another program.

    Is there a possiblity to add wired connection functions? This can compensate for the bad experience caused by network latency.

    Generally, this program is great!!!

    Thanks for sending the diagnostic logs, but unfortunately there are important log files that are missing (e.g. spacedeskDiag.txt, DebugView.log, spacedeskSetup.log..etc).
    Are you using the most recent spacedesk Driver v1.0.24?
    Could you please check for this file: C:\Users\Public\Downloads\DebugView.log.
    If you can find it there, please send it to us.
    Or if you can try again with the collection steps and able to collect the necessary logs, that would be helpful.

    Anyone who can help me with this problem?

    I can remember I have not installed Splashtop on my laptop, just TeamViewer install. I thought when I installed and uninstalled this application will let Spacedesk works well, but it doesn’t work. When I connect to the primary machine, it always shows error code 2-5 on my cell phone. My laptop shows an incompatible Display HookDriver.

    I have uploaded my diagnose log, can you pls find which application caused this problem?
