Could you please send us the following for further analysis:
– run dxdiag.exe on your primary machine, click “Save all information” and send us the output file
– spacedeskSetup.log file located in C:\Users\Public
– setupapi.dev.log file located in C:\Windows\INF- This reply was modified 2 years, 11 months ago by spacedesk Lea.

spacedeskSetup.log: Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.
setupapi.dev_.log: File exceeds allowed file size.December 20, 2021 at 9:21 pm #5133andycParticipantI have renamed the spacedesk “log” to “txt” and have extracted the spacedesk portion of setupapi.
Hope this helps

Is the failing msi installer shows error message box? OR
Is your computer crashing while trying to install spacedesk? We noticed a bluescreen crash on your dxdiag file, is it happening during spacedesk installation?
December 24, 2021 at 12:02 pm #5209andycParticipantNo msi error box but there is a bluescreen crash each time I try to install
December 28, 2021 at 1:32 am #5245spacedesk LeaKeymasterHi @andyc,

January 11, 2022 at 10:03 pm #5520tcoyleParticipantWas a fix for this found. Having same issue installing Ver 1029 on Win 10. Install fails half way through. Setup removes files and finishes. Windows does not crash
January 12, 2022 at 10:46 am #5531andycParticipantHi,
Any update on this issue?
January 14, 2022 at 12:48 pm #5594andycParticipantNo fix found as far as I am aware. I havent heard anything from Spacedesk since 2nd Jan
January 18, 2022 at 1:06 am #5677spacedesk LeaKeymasterHi @andyc,
The dump analysis shows that chdrvr01.sys driver is crashing. Please check the attached dump analysis.
The driver’s product name is CH Products Control Manager.
Do you have any CH Products on your primary machine? E.g. game controllers (joysticks, pedals, throttles)?Attachments:
