I previously had spacedesk installed prior to a new windows11 re-install. Now, I receive a “Install server not responding” error and cannot get any further than this screen. This happens on both 32 & 64 install versions.. I have tried numerous windows fixes & scans but nothing seems to help.
I have done complete un-install through Revo uninstaller and also Registrar registry remover to remove any old traces of the previous installs. My system is Windows 11 64bit, 32gig ram.
Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you very much for Sending the requested files.
Could you please try running a system file checker.
-Open the command prompt as admin and type sfc /scannow.
When the scan has finished, try to install spacedesk again.March 28, 2024 at 12:21 am #26329barryParticipantHi

After many, many hours of googling and trying fixes, I have temporarily solved the problem. The problem lies in my registry (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\msiserver) where if you change the key “start” from 3 to 2′ install will work. But, if I reboot the machine I then have to change it back to 3 for installs to work.. Mystified by this.
Anyway, thanks for your help and maybe this can help someone else if they encounter the same problem.
