    we tried to reproduce your problem with iCUE software installed. But we could not reproduce your observation. Probably because we do not have any Corsair devices. Can you please find out to which specific connected Corsair device this problem is related to (connect/disconnect devices individually)? Or does it happen on your side even without any connected Corsair devices?
    Are any of your Corsair devices connected via USB? You could also try to disable “USB Cable Driver Android” option in spacedesk Driver Console. Is the problem still happening without “USB Cable Driver Android” option activated?

    spacedesk does not support MacOS as a primary machine.
    spacedesk requires a Windows primary machine (server) and Windows/Android/iOS as secondary machine (client).

    I’m going to use Spacedesk for the first time today
    After connecting my tablet and PC with C to A cable
    I was preparing to use it
    2nd time after setting up
    The mouse pointer on the monitor, the touch function, and the screen display are displayed
    All worked fine, but the second monitor stops and disconnects a few seconds later as soon as the setting window on the first monitor is moved to the second monitor
    As soon as I tried to disconnect from my PC because the function didn’t work, I got a blue screen.
    After that, I reconnected the tablet and changed the magnification from 175% to 100%, but the same thing happened again and the blue screen occurred.

    Can anyone help? I don’t know why this is happening.

    Hello! I connected my laptop as a second monitor. As long as I don’t work on it, there are no problems. But as soon as I play the video or open the browser, within 1-10 minutes the screen freezes until the Viewer on the laptop restarts. I don’t get any errors, the screen just stops freezing, and I can still send apps to the second screen.

    My PC:
    Windows 10 Corporate
    v. 22H2 19045.4894

    SpaceDesk Driver Console v. 2.1.22

    My laptop:
    Windows 11 PRO
    v. 22H2 22631.4169

    SpaceDesk Viewer v. 0.0.34.0

    1) Both devices have the latest Windows updates installed.

    2) The latest video card drivers are installed on the PC.

    3) Both devices do not have external antiviruses and the firewall is disabled

    4) Rebooted and reinstalled SpaceDesk on both devices

    I couldn’t find a way on the Internet or on the forum that would fix the problems.

    After installing spacedesk, Corsair Icue crashes on my machine after a (re)boot of windows 11. Restarting Icue crashes it again. After uninstalling the windows app all is fine again, untill I try a new install and connection.

    Running the latest version of windows 11, the latest version of Icue 5, a samsung tab 3 (which does connect both over ethernet and usb when using spacedesk.

    I do need Icue for corsair device control

    some help would be appreciated

    your Windows machine specs fit the system requirements of spacedesk.
    We are not aware of any issue about not having enough power when using USB cable connection in spacedesk.
    Does this not happen when simply charging the iPad device through the PC or plugging another USB device?

    does the problem only happen in one of your devices (TB-X704V)?
    Is there maybe an antivirus installed on this device?
    If you still have the spacedesk driver v2.1.21 installer, you may revert to this version.

    yes, only two displays can be duplicated – this is default Windows display settings behavior.

    I suggest to use the Video Wall feature of spacedesk.
    Open spacedesk Driver Console and check the Video Wall Mode setting.
    Assign the Android tablets to Wall0.
    Duplicate the spacedesk display and the other display.

    Hi,

    I got the same issue. Have you found any solution?
    I was streaming my PC’s audio to my ipad with spacedesk and the audio is mono. Other video apps or browser give stereo output to my headphone so I believe it’s not a setting issue on my ipad.

    Hello everybody,

    I want to use Spacedesk on my laptop to duplicate screen on 3 android tablets. I want the same screen on all devices. However it seems that screen duplication is allowed only on 2 devices at time. Any clues? Am I missing something?

    thanks for confirming this.
    Based on your spacedeskDiag, the Nvidia ShadowPlay/In-game Overlay has been detected. Could you please try to disable this?

    You may also try to clear the Windows display settings. Open spacedesk Driver Console -> Control and click on ‘Clear Windows Display Settings’ button.

    It seems that there is a connection congestion and the Android viewer app did not respond to the spacedesk server in time.
    Is the spacedesk Android viewer app updated to the latest version?
    Have you tried to connect by USB cable or setup WiFi Direct/WiFi Hotspot?

    Hello spacedesk supporters.

    I’ve been using spacedesk well on the previous laptop so far. I recently purchased a new, latest laptop and tried to install and use spacedesk, but the spacedesk on the second monitor does not work. The second monitor is a Samsung tablet as well and it just shows a message “Connected – display off”. I tried to check it with the previous laptop(HP) again, it works well. I’m curious if spacedesk dose not work on the Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU.

    The laptop model and CPU specifications are as follows.

    * Company : SAMSUNG
    * Model: NT940XMA-K01AB
    * CPU: Qualcomm Snapdragon® X Elite CPU

    After inquiring with the SAMSUNG company, they told me to contact spacedesk to see if it runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon® X Elite CPU.

    Hi @robcres,

    It is possible that your connection might be affecting the performance of the viewer in your Surface Tablet. Is your screen also freezing or stuttering? You may refer to the Performance Tuning section in the User Manual to further improve your viewer’s performance. You can also try the Spacedesk Viewer in the Microsoft Store for better performance.

    spacedesk graphics adapter and all other screen extension/duplication applications that are using Microsoft Indirect Display Driver model has a default WDDM 1.3 version.
    Missing display duplication option should only happen if the main graphics adapter has < WDDM 2.0. Please try the following: (a) in the spacedesk viewer app, select a resolution that is supported by the main display. (b) use the display switch (Win + P) to duplicate the displays

    Hi, I am looking for a fix to my duplication option in my windows not showing up. I am running windows 10 with newest nvidia graphics drivers, but the WDDM for the space desk is 1.3. I have no idea how this has happened and have tried reinstalling and updating drivers and spacedesk to of no use. If anyone has any clue on how to get my duplicate display back, please do reply to this message.

    Hi @juriy,

    we do not have such option but you can achieve quite a similar setup with the following steps:
    1. Open spacedesk Driver Console.
    2. Navigate to Control on the left pane. On the right pane, input value -1 in Connection close delay and press Enter key. Please refer to the screenshot attached.

    Connection close delay setting will only take effect after manually disconnecting the viewer app.
    The display will stay plugged up to N seconds/hours/etc. Value -1 means infinite.
    The display can be unplugged when spacedesk Driver is switched OFF or upon primary machine shutdown/restart.

    Hello, I have an issue with the windows 7 spacedesk viewer where I have the YUV compression disabled for seemingly no reason, I have connected my computer with an ethernet connection to my laptop so bandwidth couldn’t be a problem, and changing the colour depth options, quality, or fps doesn’t change anything. I am running the v0.9.45 (BETA) version of the viewer and I am on a fully updated copy of Windows 7 Professional SP1 x64. I have attached a screenshot below of the issue.

    based on the log files, the spacedesk drivers are properly installed.
    The failure came from starting the spacedesk service with an access denied error.
    Does the user account where spacedesk is being installed has administrator privileges?

    it is not decided yet what will happen when the free version will expire in December 2024. There might be a similar free version for another year.
    If you wish to continue to use spacedesk as a free version, then minimizing the window is the only thing to do. To eliminate the popup, you can purchase a commercial/licensed type spacedesk Viewer app.

    I’ve been using spacedesk for over a year as a non-commercial individual and happy to purchase the product when Free version expires in December. How do you get rid of this window though? I already know I’m a private non-commercial user and this window is utterly useless yet takes up taskbar space.

    My bad got the answer, just few threads below.
    To use other Android USB applications, turn OFF USB option on Windows PC in spacedesk Driver Console (you turned it ON before). Or uninstall spacedesk on Windows PC. Read instructions in spacedesk Driver Console (re-plug, restart, reboot) and instruction manual https://manual.spacedesk.net

    Please note that Microsoft already stopped Windows 7 support.
    spacedesk driver may or may not work in Windows 7.

    Still impossible to connect two iPads at the same time… When I launch the second one, it switches alternately from one to the other with the message no display: “connected – no display”
    I’m on Windows 11 latest update… SPACEDESK 2.1.21… on iPad also latest version …
    SPACEDESK 2.1.21 starts correctly and the iPad is detected in the Wall1 wifi LAN…
    But when I plug in the second iPad, it goes from one to the other…

    Do you have the latest driver version installed in your server machine? Are you connecting your ipads via USB or via wifi? Also, are both displays in desktop extension mode? For further info on connecting new displays, you may refer to the User Manual here:

    installing spacedesk does not change any audio settings. Windows can see an additional spacedesk Speaker Device ONLY WHILE a spacedesk viewer is connected AND the viewer has audio playback (speaker) feature enabled.
    Audio recording fails on which Windows Audio Device exactly?
    – Default Speaker Device (if yes, which device is set as Default Speaker)
    – Application specific Speaker Device (if yes, which application and which speaker device???)
    – Specific spacedesk Virtual Speaker?
    – Specific other Speaker Device?
    – Microphone (this would be very surprising since spacedesk has nothing to do with microphones)?
    Maybe OBS or InsightsCapture are just confused when audio settings change temporarily or permanently. Maybe you need to check their audio device settings and restart them?

    First of all: You can always uninstall spacedesk in Safe Mode. Just look at the instruction manual on https://manual.spacedesk.net There is a chapter “UNINSTALL ON WINDOWS PRIMARY MACHINE” and “Troubleshooting Uninstall”.
    Second: Since you are talking about contemporary Windows (Windows 11 or 10), we can hardly imagine how the problem could be related to spacedesk. WDDM IddCx Display Drivers are not known to have such side effects (*). However, if you like we could still analyze details of your case. Then on Monday our team could instruct you how to create and send logfiles.

    (*) Only in case of Legacy Windows (8.1 and 7) such a problem could theoretically be related to spacedesk. In rare cases, Legacy WDDM Hook Display Drivers might expose such side effects.

    I tried to uninstall spacedesk in safe mode, but when deleting, the error “An error has been encountered while installing spacedesk driver” came out.     After installing this app, desktop audio cannot be recorded by recording apps such as OBS Studio and Insights Capture.
    In some cases, the desktop audio is recorded successfully, but the microphone audio is not.

    Hello, I was using the iOS app on my Mac and after I installed an app to help keep my screen from turning off (Amphetamine), Spacedesk started to become unusable. I noticed that when it tries to connect (I have it set to auto connect to my PC) the status box is cropped out and the screen is completely black after it connects. I can tell it’s connecting because my PC can detect the screen.

    I’m running on macOS 14.6.1 as well as the most recent version of the Spacedesk iOS app. My driver is up to date as well.
