Thank you so much for the work, the apps it’s been very helpfull. For my experiences with spacedesk, i have some questions i’d like to know, and pardon me of my weird question because i am not a tech person.1. i am using my android tablet as my pc’s extended monitor, and mainly using USB Tethering for better performance. If i may ask, if i’m using a better usb cable (3.1 type c or thunderbolt), would it give a better transfer data and performance (fps, delay, etc)? my android has UFS 3.2 and my PC also has a type c 3.1 port too
2. i’ve been looking at my ethernet network and its connection name is changing, from the first time i connect my android tab with USB Tethering, it says Network 1, but now its name is Network 18, it will always be updating as a new network. Can i reset this, or is there a feature or should it be a system thing to make it keeps the specific name?
3. USB Tethering has speed cap in 425 MB, which is still ok, but i see that spacedesk is having a big update in 2022 Q4, especially there will be some kind of Pro version. Will it provide even better feature for better performance, low delay and latency etc?
4. That might be related to our devices too, so i have device that support 3.1 usb type C, which can transfer data up to 10gbps, is it possible that using that as a type of transfer data, work like USB Tethering for a screen extending/mirroring feature? especially for devices that has not support MHL/DisplayPort, if not then,
5. Can the USB Tethering speed increased based on the usb type’s and it’s maximal performance on transfering data of 10Gbps?

Today I tried to install Spacedesk.When I install, all looks fine, but then I saw that there was no tray icon.
After investigating, I found that the setup did not install the .exe into system32.I tested it on another computer, and it works fine.
Why isn’t it working on my laptop? I really need this software soon..
I hope really much that we can fix it..My laptop is Samsung Galaxy Book S.

I’m currently running a PC with a Quadro RTX 4000 with 3x1080p projectors connected. I’d like to use my phone as a device to show a small portion of the combined 5760×1080 mosaic compound, however, it appears I cannot connect only when in a mosaic group.
I’ve tried reinstalling/updating GPU drivers, uninstalling/disabling any conflicts such as NVIDIA Shadowplay, and I am still unable to connect in a Mosaic compound. I can connect outside of a surround/mosaic without any issues, just not whilst enabled.
I thought perhaps sending a 5760×1080 signal might be a lot to transmit? However even when sending only a small 320×320 section of the screen, it still doesn’t connect properly.
Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks!

BradWhen Connect to Spacedesk Previously, I always setup to Extended Screen Mode on Windows 11, but now it always in Duplicate Screen Mode when connect, I need setting manually to Extended Screen mode on each connect.
Please advise is it Windows Update issue?Dear readers,
my impression is that any client, who happens to be in the own network, is able to connect to a server and have an extended desktop at hand.
Is there a possibility to control such? Would it be not interesting to restrict the use of the service to ceratain users, where it requires a special action to add a new user?

IngoOk so, i’m using spacedesk as secondary monitor interface on my windows tablet. Problem is that the tablet maintain a exit fullscreen button in the top right corner of the screen as presented on the attached screenshot of this post. Is there any workaround for getting rid of it ? the tablet itself is never used so any ideas are welcome XD
Hi, any time I try to run a game from steam, spacedesk crashes, as does my game. This is very frustrating as I am using a headless pc set up, so every time this occurs I have to reboot the pc, and I am unable to play my game. Is there a fix, or potential third party program I can use to fix this? From looking online I’ve seen that this isn’t the only game on steam that spacedesk crashes. Thanks!

I am new to using this app but I think it is a great idea.
I have 3 tablets I am trying to connect and have them setup.
2 Samsung TAB E and 1 IpadI can extend the desktop to all 3 but they disconnect after a few minutes.
Attached is the diagnostic file as suggested in the support forum.
My PC is on a wired network and does not have a wireless card.
Are you able to advise on what I could do to make the connection stable. The wifi signal I have is strong and never have any issue with disconnecting.
