Hi @srirams05,
We are glad that it is now working on your side.
In case of Desktop duplication, the answer is No. you don’t have to match the resolution of your main display and Ipad. however, to get the best experience and ensure a good display quality, it is recommended that your main screen resolution and spacedesk Viewer resolution have the same „aspect ratio“ (e.g. 4:3). for 4:3 aspect ratio: Main display screen 1920×1440 and viewer display screen 800×600.
You can change resolution of spacedesk Viewer in spacedesk Viewer app menu.
Hi @mz,
It looks like you are trying to download a different spacedesk viewer app from the MS Store. To make sure you are downloading the correct spacedesk Windows 10 viewer, please go to our download page at https://www.spacedesk.net/#download and click the link that has ‚Microsoft‘ on it. This will direct you to the correct download page in the Microsoft Store.

Hello,
Ic can’t install the Win 10 Viewer from the Windows Store. In Firefox there ist an Error message, which tells that there is no app found for this file. In Edge just nothing happens if I click the install-button.
Could you help me?
Best regards
Matthias
I’m using last version on both win10 with Spacedesk server and Ipad 2 ios 15.9.7 as client.
Would be nice if reconnect did work, now I need to restart app on iPad.
I’d like server to „hold“ extend desktop … when secondary screen is off.

Update Works on iPad, IOS 15.7.9
Hi @larrygt
If you want to use a single window containing your remote desktop and stretch this across both screens, you need to take note of a few things:
1. Your secondary monitor’s resolution should be adjusted to match your main monitor.
2. The application might have a maximum window size.
3. Check if your application has a configurable display settings.
– In your case, before connecting to your RDP navigate to Display Tab -> Display Configuration -> Adjust size of the remote desktop
– Make sure to check „Use all my monitors for the remote session.
A few notes:
– If Full screen won’t stretch to both monitors, try a windowed screen and manually adjusting the windows to stretch across screens.
– If you cannot resize the windows any further, it means that it is the maximum window size.
I can’t install the program, please refer to the following attachments

Hi @srirams05,
You could try the following:
1. Disable your IPV6 in Control Panel > Network and Internet > network connection > right click on your network adapter and uncheck ‚Internet Protocol Version 6‘ and leave ipv4 checked.
or
2. you can try to prioritize IPV4 over IPV6, please run the Command Prompt as Administrator and type the following commands below:
reg add hklm\system\currentcontrolset\services\tcpip6\parameters /v DisabledComponents /t REG_DWORD /d 0x20
then reboot your pc and try to connect with spacedesk
Q: In my LAN setup described above, can I connect my ipad to the LAN switch to which the Primary PC is connected?
A: Yes, Theoretically, it should work with the use of an ethernet adapter for your Ipad, but please note that this feature has not been fully tested yet. so it may or may not work on some devices.
I am using IOS viewer 1.0.53 (latest update)
See attached image/file. For driver version 1.075
See also that server seems to be broadcasting.

Hi @srirams05,
What iOS viewer version are you using? are you using spacedesk iOS viewer v1.0.52? Please be informed that there’s a known bug on that version that causes crash and discovery issues.
We have release a new spacedesk iOS viewer in the appstore. Please update your viewer and check if there are still any problems on your side.
OK, I reinstalled 1075 & it seems to be working perfect. Not a single reconnect notification or observable glitch in about 3 hours. I didn’t mention this in my original post as I was saving it for a follow-up, but when 1075 was having issues, I would also sometimes see a message from spacedesk complaining about poor connectivity. It would sometimes popup onscreen & disappear. I had no idea what the issue could be.
My laptop is wired thru a Thunderbolt 4 dock, the tablet is just above it on Wi-Fi 5GHz & the router both are connected to is less than 1 meter to the side. I tried using other apps on the tablet & they seemed fine as a test.
I will keep an eye on the situation, advise & submit the diagnostics if the issue arises again.
If I can be of any assistance, please let me know. While all is well I’m going to turn off the diags for now.
Thanx…..Len

Hello SpaceDesk Team,
Your software works great on my Surface tablet.
I have got two feature requests;
1. Support for lower refresh rates (30 Hz, 15Hz)
This is useful for applications with (mostly) static screens (text editing) and low network bandwidth.
2 In addition to the MSI installer it would be nice to have a SpaceDesk driver package.
(Zipped folder containing an .inf file, and all the application files)
This will allow users to slipstream the SpaceDesk application and drivers into Windows installation media.
Hi @lwerman,
Could you please go back to the latest spacedesk version 1.0.75 and send us the Diagnostic logs of this Issue?
Just follow the steps below:
– open spacedesk Driver Console -> Diagnostics
– if Debug View is not available, please click the download button first
– switch Diagnostic Collection ON (make sure to click Yes in the User Account Control box to proceed)
– try to connect your viewer and reproduce the disconnecting issue
– switch Diagnostic Collection OFF
– click Save All Information button (if a message box appears, just click No to proceed)
PS: Saving all information will take a few seconds, then please send us the whole folder which contains all the diagnostic logs collected.
Please right-click the folder -> Send to -> Compressed (zipped) folder, then attach the *.zip file in your next reply.
Hi @freakymood,
Unfortunately, The current version of spacedesk Windows 7 viewer doesn’t have the option to hide the ‚x‘ button during full-screen mode.
For now, you can use the spacedesk UWP viewer (for Windows 10) since the full-screen mode in this viewer does not have the ‚x‘ button.
Hi @sskyau,
Thank you very much for providing information regarding this issue.
since you cannot install any MSI, removing the old drivers should now be done manually.
Please Go to chapter “UNINSTALL ON WINDOWS PRIMARY MACHINE” => “Manual Uninstall (Troubleshooting Only)” in the user manual https://manual.spacedesk.net/ManualUninstallTroubleshootingOn.html
Do all 7 steps (Step 1 – Step 7) mentioned in this chapter
Chapter “APPENDIX”=> “File List” states all executable files. After deleting all these, there should be nothing left to see any more.
Note: these steps should only be done in exceptional cases if needed and if previously discussed with spacedesk support.
I got the error message when I was trying to install. I rebooted the computer and got the same result. I think the problem is space desk had been installed previously and for some reasons I need to reinstall the Windows. I restore all the drivers from backup after I reinstall Win10, therefore, I think the space desk drivers also got restored (I captured the screen from search for „spacedesk“ in window explorer). So may be it is the problem, how can I remove the existing old drivers now? I can’t get the program to install so there is no option for me to uninstall.

My app (1.0.52) worked fine on Oct.21. Today it stopped working on iPhoneSE. iOS: 15.7.9. Interestingly, it is working on my iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 16.3.1. Spacedesk driver on Win11: 1.0.75.
Device logs show from my iPad Air 2:

I’ve been using Spacedesk for about 3 years. Every time I use the update feature, the new install file downloads into the Public Downloads folder, not the d/l folder under my user account. For me, that sort of keeps them out of sight, as I have 4 older versions to pick from. I’d probably have more if I hadn’t replaced my laptop last November.
I just uninstalled the 1075 & ran the 1073 file right from the Public d/l folder.
same issue. was extending windows 11 to an ipad and it was working for awhile but now when i try to connect my ipad the app just crashes. i tried re-istalling both ios app and windows app but nothing. hopefully its fixed soon ):
edit: also i tried restarting both and both are up to date.

The latest version 1.0.75 is a constant problem. It disconnects & reconnects every few minutes. I uninstalled it & reinstalled v1.0.73 & the issue went away.
It does this upon only launching, without any apps on the 2nd display.
Windows 11 Pro build 22621.2283, using wired ethernet via dock
2nd display is a Samsung A7 tablet, using Wi-Fi.
I am the latest 1.0.75 version installed using the Windows 0.0.30 viewer on the client machine.
The viewer correctly identifies the server hostname but shows a green connection available on another IP address than the host in the same subnet. Manually adding the correct IP does not fix it.
I am using the local IP address on the same subnet as the router and not trying to connect via the Tailscale virtual network.
The ip of my server is 192.168.0.150 and the viewer is finding a connectable client on 192.168.0.14 (which is another computer that doesn’t have the Spacedesk server installed but does have tailscale). Weirdly it comes up green. If I disconnect tailscale it shows both IPs but connects normally on 192.168.0.150.

Hi, There is a little X at the top right of screen, and I don’t want to see it. It just blinks, or just stays there. How can I make it dissapear? (This only happens when using fullscreen, on client.)
And I don’t want to use spacedesk web because it uses html5 and it is very laggy with only cpu clients. (100% Cpu usage)

Hi @omi221,
zoom in/out feature will be available soon on Android viewer app.
If the desktop objects appear to be smaller on the Android viewer app,
you may set a smaller resolution in the viewer app.
Just go to Menu -> Settings -> Resolution, check ‚Use custom resolution‘ and choose a resolution that fits the aspect ratio of your device. Upon connect, select the new resolution on the Windows Display settings.
Hi @spacedesk-christian,
I see a similar behavior with an iPad 9 (iPadOS 17.0.3).
Connecting via network works without any issues. Only the presented desktop is rotated by 180°.
Current workaround: locking the screen in iOS and rotating the iPad by 180°.
If you need more detailed information and/or maybe testing on other iOS/iPadOS devices, please ping me by email. (#Support free software for private use)
Hi @hngbr,
Your Phone/Main monitor:
Resolution: 1600×720, Aspect Ratio: 2.22: 1
What you want:
Resolution: 800×600, Aspect Ratio: 4:3
You can’t stretch the game to fit your whole screen without getting those black bars because these two resolutions have different Aspect ratios.
If you want the game to cover your entire screen on your main monitor, you’ll need to adjust the game’s resolution to match your phone/main display’s aspect ratio, which is 2.22:1. So, instead of 800×600, we suggest picking a lower resolution with a 22.2:1 aspect ratio to make it fit better (e.g 800×360)
note: make sure to set spacedesk viewer resolution to your phone’s native resolution too.
since you are only using mirroring mode, just go to spacedesk viewer settings > Resolution > uncheck the ‚Use custom resolution‘
Hi @robert-cooper,
spacedesk can support up to 16 viewer connections as long as your Windows 10/11 primary machine’s resources can handle all the connected displays.
If you have Windows 7/8.1 primary machine, it can support up to 3 viewer connections.
Hey, im using a mobile phone as a monitor since my monitor broke and i wanted to still play my games, i have a MOTO G9 Play (Resolution : 1600×720) as a mobile phone and i play valorant and roblox, and im using mirror/duplication in this case im using mirror, and Roblox/Valorant support most of the resolutions so in only need the method.
Hi @hngbr,
In case of Desktop duplication (mirroring main screen):
Your main screen resolution and spacedesk Viewer resolution need to have same aspect ratio (e.g. 4:3). Example for 4:3 aspect ratio: Main display screen 1920×1440 and viewer display screen 800×600. You can change resolution of spacedesk Viewer in spacedesk Viewer app menu. Still the game might cause black regions on each side or top and bottom if it does not support this specific resolution.
In case of Desktop extension:
You just need to select a resolution which is supported by the game. Change resolution of spacedesk Viewer in spacedesk Viewer app menu.
Are you using Desktop duplication (mirror) mode or Desktop extension mode? In case of mirror/duplication Which resolution do you have on your main monitor? Which game are you playing? Which resolutions does this game support? Does this game adjust resolution automatically?
Hi @omi221,
Which viewer are you using?
Zooming is possible in both spacedesk Windows 7 viewer and the spacedesk UWP viewer for Windows 10.
In Windows 7, you can zoom in/out using your mouse’s scroll wheel.
In the Windows 10 viewer, make sure to enable the ‚Scale‘ option in the settings > display. Once enabled, you can zoom in and out on the spacedesk screen with your mouse’s scroll wheel.
Hello M8’s,
Here is my issue. I am using telepromter: https://www.superkuva.fi/desview-foldable-teleprompter-t12-tablet-smartphone-camera?gclid=Cj0KCQjwm66pBhDQARIsALIR2zBbjB9nFbYRU1UyRuC8uf_bemJ6TaZE1yBG0lQfuAEdi_qomKoaKhgaAiAJEALw_wcB
And i would love to put canva window to my prompter when i give presentations. How in earth i can get spacedesk window to mirrowed mode, so picture from glass would be in right way?
Hi @launchee,
Thank you very much for checking.
-Have you tried moving a window from monitor 1 to monitor 2? How did it go?
-What’s the current resolution for your Monitor 1 and Monitor 2?
-Is your spacedesk Android viewer app and spacedesk Windows Driver updated to the latest version? if not, please try to update them.
Hi @launchee,
It is possible that you have a wrong arrangement of your Displays in the settings.
Could you please check and follow these steps below?
– Go to Settings > System > Display
– Check which number are your monitors by clicking ‚Identity‘
– Drag and drop your Android monitor (could be display 2) to the right side of your display 1
– Under the Multiple displays section -> click on the drop-down list -> make sure the ‚Extend these displays‘ option is selected.
– Click Apply
Hi @krakerino,
Have you tried connecting your tablet directly to your PC without the USB extender? is the issue still happening using that setup?
there is a similar bug present in the old spacedesk viewer app. Please make sure that your app is updated to the latest version 0.91.10 in the playstore.
BTW: charging your phone while using spacedesk via USB cable at the same time should not affect its connection.
Hi @crucial
We can see the same behavior only with USB cable connection.
If it’s via Wi-Fi, it should reconnect properly upon power resume on your Android device.
Also, is your spacedesk viewer app updated? If not, please make sure to update it to v0.91.10 in the Playstore as well as your spacedesk Driver to v1075
Hi everyone,
Not really sure if this should be classed as a bug or feature request, but I have realised when I turn my phone off which is mirroring as a second display, and then turn it back on it still works, but if it’s been off for around 10 minutes it will just show a black screen or won’t update from the last shown screen. are there any workarounds to this?
I’m using my Android tablet (Tab S7+) as a second touchscreen monitor by USB via a 25ft active USB extender to a USB-C cable to connect the PC to the tablet. The issue happens when I start sending touch inputs to the host computer: it disconnects after ~15 seconds. If I don’t, the connection stays flawless. Please also note that my tablet starts charging when I connect the cable, which might „steal“ the active USB extender’s power and causing it to cut off the connection. Needless to say, I would rather not root my device to disable charging just to test that theory.
I’ve attached a diagram of my setup.
All cables are USB 3.0 but they were the cheapest on Amazon (they were still relatively expensive).

Well, I wasn’t able to figure out how to do the debug mode, and then I got distracted with other stuff, but recently I figured out something that seems noteworthy. I put spacedesk on my yogabook touchscreen laptop and noticed that the glitchy behavior wasn’t present on the laptop, but just upon my PC. The laptop runs Windows 10 and came preinstalled for use with a stylus by lenovo, and the PC is running windows 11 (dell). I use a wacom tablet on the PC, and sometimes even a direct connection has shown that the tablet produces glitch as well, so it must be a setting on windows and probably not a spacedesk fault.
I tried those just now and I’m still having the same issue. I’m not sure if it’s an issue with spacedesk or my laptop at this point. I’ve tried it with two tablets (Android 9 and android 11) and my phone (android 9) and none have worked properly. It seems like once I get to a certain pressure level, it loops back around to the smallest size possible. I have gotten it to work properly by turning my volume down a few notches, so maybe it’s just extra sensitive on my devices
I am trying to setup a system where my main display is replicated to 4 other displays. This is needed for an event presentation where WiFi is not available. SpaceDesk works great for the replication – but I am in a bind on how to create a local wireless network – when there is no internet access. I was hoping to use the Mobile Hotspot functionality in Win10/11 and use that as a hub. But the mobile hotspot feature only works to share an existing WiFi connection – not to setup a new one. Any ideas on the best way to get this going? Will buying a cheap router solve the need? Any way to make it happen without buying new hardware?
I will have a total of 5 devices – combination of Windows and Chromebooks.
Hi @mittens4958,
We tried reproducing this issue, but we still haven’t observed it on any of our available devices.
Not sure if they’ll work, but if you haven’t tried these steps yet, please try the following:
try reinstalling the spacedesk Android viewer v0.91.10 > reboot your Android device then recalibrate it again, make sure that the volume is turned all the way up.
Hi @nhan,
Besides the instructions from that thread, you could try the following:
-clear spacedesk cache/data in your phone app settings
-Reinstall or update your spacedesk app to v0.91.10
-click ‘Clear spacedesk Settings’ and ‘Clear Windows Display Settings’ in spacedesk Console
-Restart Android device
Hi @dougw03,
Yes, indeed. -1 is equivalent to infinite which means your client display will not disconnect until the primary machine reboots. you could try setting your own limit (the default is 45 seconds) to make your client disconnect after the specific time.
Hi Christian, so far it seems to be working well, thanks!
One unrelated issue is I noticed that when I disconnect from the crossover cable, my host monitor still shows the client as being connected. Is this because we set the disconnect delay to -1 due to the earlier timeout issues I was mentioning with the UWP app when it is minimized? This can make things a bit challenging because I have to manually disconnect my monitor every time I am away from my home setup.
