Win 11 installation ok but no icon tray

Hello,

I have macbook air M1 2021 running latest version of parallels and latest version of windows 11 (version 22H2 build 22621.525)
Installation of parallels and windows 11 are totally fresh from now.

I downloaded spacedesk_driver_Win_10_64_v1062_BETA, install it without problem, but after installation, no icon tray.
I tried to launch the program, it says bad shortcut, I tried to locate the insatllation, could not find it.
Uninstalled 3 times (with error message in the middle of uninstallation), did proper registry cleaning. Always same result.
Maybe it could come from my virtual hardware configuration of windows 11.
If someone had same issues or could provide any help, I greatly appreciate 🙂

Could you please check if you can find the following files:
C:\Windows\System32\spacedeskService.exe
C:\Windows\System32\spacedeskServiceTray.exe
C:\Windows\System32\spacedeskConsole.exe
Then run services.msc, find spacedeskService and check if the status is Running.

For further analysis, please send us the following:
– run dxdiag.exe on your primary machine, click “Save all information” and send us the output file
– spacedeskSetup.log file located in C:\Users\Public
– setupapi.dev.log file located in C:\Windows\INF
Please save all requested files in one folder, then right-click -> Send to -> Compressed (zipped) folder, then attach the *.zip file in your next reply.

C:\Windows\System32\spacedeskConsole.exe

I have no such files
No spacedeskService in Services.msc

In attachement the requested logs.

It appears that the install is totally incomplete but the setup installs seamlessly without problems or warning.
Since yesterday, I reinstalled totally windows 11 and tried again with same result.

I hope we will find a fix, spacedesk is so nice !

Thanks for sending the requested files.
Based on your Dxdiag info your primary PC is 64bit ARM processor.
Unfortunately, spacedesk does not support ARM processors.

Yes M1 prrocessors from Apple are ARM64.
Too bad for me 🙁
