How do I connect my laptop and PC through a wired connection (Like USB Tether)

Basically the title.
I wanna connect my laptop and PC through a wired connection because over wifi it sucks (even though my PC does use an ethernet cable) I’m guessing I cant just connect it to my PC through a USB. So is there anything I can do?

USB tethering connection is applicable if your secondary machine is Android or iOS device.
Based on your statement, you have laptop and PC so I assume you have Windows as secondary machine.
Therefore, you can try Ethernet crossover cable connection between your windows machines.
