Hi @tyrell63 and @downstairsflier,
Did you already tried with auto-reconnect enabled on viewer app settings?
Does the spacedesk display have any screen activity during the sudden disconnect?By the way, what is the current quality/compression settings (encoding/rendering color depth, custom fps) in the viewer app?
Hi @kroshold,
Thanks for the feedback.
1. Do you have Nvidia ShadowPlay/screen recording/instant replay or Game Overlay settings enabled?
If yes, please disable it then switch server OFF-> ON then try again to reconnect.2. If #1, did not help, please try to reinstall spacedesk Driver v1.0.14 then try again to connect.
If problem still persist, please download the spacedesk diagnostic script here, then extract it.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/z8h5llgi8c2ig3g/2021_spacedeskDiagnosticTool.zip?dl=0Inside you will find spacedeskDiagnosticTool.cmd, just right-click it then run as administrator.
This script will start a debug view app to capture spacedesk debug traces.
On step 5 it will prompt you to reproduce the issue (by connecting the viewer app and wait for the issue to happen), make sure to do this before pressing any key to continue.
After the script is done, a folder will be created on the same folder as the script file which contains various log files that we need for analysis.
Please right-click it -> Send to -> Compressed (zipped) folder, then attach the *.zip file on your next reply.Hi @khanhzz,
What is the connection time (which is below the error code)?
Did you notice any error notification on your main computer?
Do you maybe have splashtop software installed on your main computer?
If yes, just uninstall the “Virtual Display driver” on Splashtop Wired XDisplay Agent window -> Advanced option.Hi @watchbird,
For further analysis, could you please send us the following:
– run dxdiag.exe on your primary machine, click “Save all information” and send us the output file
– spacedeskSetup.log file located in C:\Users\Public
– setupapi.dev.log file located in C:\Windows\INFPlease save all requested files in one folder, then right-click -> Send to -> Compressed (zipped) folder, then attach the *.zip file on your next reply.
Hi @gpsdmsj1,
I assume, spacedesk is currently on extension mode.
Do you intend to use spacedesk for desktop duplication/mirroring or extension?Hi @peltierdevice,

Thanks for the feedback. We never tested spacedesk with Citrix Workspace. We cannot easily troubleshoot it since the app is not a free software.
As for the disconnection, I assume the spacedesk viewers are connected over wifi network, right?
If that’s the case, one of the possible reason is maybe there’s a network drop that causes a disconnection?
Is your network stable/reliable?
Can you maybe try connecting over a wired network, e.g. USB tethering? Then check if you still experience the disconnection from time to time.By the way, do you have auto-reconnect enabled on your spacedesk viewer app settings? maybe that might help too?
You mentioned that you have v0.9.87 driver version, can you maybe try our most recent spacedesk driver v1.0.14?Hi @kroshold,

Hi @mjb,
Thanks for the feedback.
We will forward it to our web developer and get back to you as soon as we have news regarding this topic.Hi @carje,
It’s the current design of spacedesk whenever the primary machine goes to power suspend, the spacedesk viewer will display this message as indication.
It is not possible to remove these messages at the moment, but I will check with our developers if we can consider it.Hi @isa-ldsk,

1+2+3: To setup spacedesk you should have one primary machine and one (or more) secondary machine.
On primary machine you have to install the spacedesk Driver/Server.
On secondary machine, spacedesk Viewer app should be installed. If you have the 12 native monitors attached to it, then you can setup 12 viewer app instance on each monitors and connect it all to your primary machine.
You can easily setup the Videowall using the Video Wall Engine user interface.
For more details please check the spacedesk user manual https://forum.spacedesk.netuser-manual/.4. Current spacedesk BETA version is free to use until it expire on Dec.31, 2021.
Hi @shodan,
Unfortunately, no plans for native spacedesk Viewer for Linux machine at the moment.Hi @petresarr,
Current spacedesk only support 30Hz or 60Hz refresh rate.
On spacedesk Android Viewer app’s Settings -> Quality/Performance -> Custom FPS rate, you can only select 30FPS or 60FPS and it will correspond to the display’s refresh rate.As of now, we have no plans to support more than 60Hz.
We set the max to 60Hz to limit the network bandwidth to prevent latency.Hi @chaos_02,
Thanks for the screenshot.
Could you please try to uninstall spacedesk completely, then reboot your primary machine.
After reboot please install the latest spacedesk Driver v1.0.14 from our website https://forum.spacedesk.net.20 9 月, 2021 5:48 上午 回覆至: spacedesk viewer device cannot connect to server through mobile hotspot #2321Hi @oleechn,
Thanks for sending a short video of the issue.
Can you quickly try with spacedesk Windows 7 Viewer app v0.9.30 which you can download on our website?
Then check if you get the same connection issue.Hi @multi-cat,
Thanks for sending the requested files.
We were able to reproduce it. I already forwarded it to our developer.
We will get back to you as soon as we have news regarding this issue.Hi @manos40,
Touchscreen is already supported by spacedesk.
You can easily enable it on the viewer settings.
Please check the Configuration & Settings -> Viewer Device (Secondary Machine) chapter in the user manual for more details https://forum.spacedesk.netuser-manual/.By the way, is your Lenovo tablet Android? or Windows?
Hi @lizrieg,
Multi-touch (e.g. pinch to zoom) feature is not yet supported by spacedesk.
This feature is already in our to do list but will not be available anytime soon.
We are currently very busy with higher prioritized features and bug fixes.Hi @ngoof,
Did you notice any error notification on primary machine?
Please check if any of the following driver is still present on your primary machine, please run command prompt as administrator then type the following commands and check if status is RUNNING or STOPPED:
sc query ddkmd
sc query dlkmd
sc query FLxHCIv
sc query lci_proxykmd
sc query lci_proxywddmIf you get a RUNNING or STOPPED status then type this next command:
sc delete
Then after executing all the commands please reboot your primary machine and try again with spacedesk.
Hi @irmuunshde,
In this case, you don’t have viewer app connected yet, right?
Did you already tried to reboot your machine?
If you uninstall spacedesk, will it disappear?- 該回覆由 spacedesk Lea 於 3 years, 2 months ago 修改。
Hi @cqpeak,
Thank you very much for the feedback.
1. Currently, to emulate a right-click event, you have to do the left-click + hold then release gesture.
The actual right-click and scroll button click from a real USB mouse device are not yet being recognized by the spacedesk Android Viewer app.
We will ask our developer about this then get back to you.2. Optimization of HTML5 viewer is currently not our priority at the moment.
We are focused on improving our native Viewer apps (e.g. Android/iOS/Windows).3. Not sure what you are asking here, but you can also save the full spacedesk HTML5 web page locally so you don’t have to go to https://viewer.spacedesk.net/ every time you want to connect the spacedesk.
4. Unfortunately, it’s not possible. The idea of spacedesk is to allow user to have another Windows desktop screen (mirrored/extended) over the local area network via secondary device’s e.g. Android, iOS, Windows, etc.
Hi @irmuunshde,
Maybe your monitor rescaled after spacedesk installation.
Could you please open the display settings and try to switch to a different screen resolution then back to it’s default/recommended settings.Hi @philippe-marlieroutlook-com,
Is this the first time you install spacedesk?
Or do you already have an older version on your machine?
For further analysis, could you please send us the following:
– run dxdiag.exe on your primary machine, click “Save all information” and send us the output file
– spacedeskSetup.log file located in C:\Users\Public
– setupapi.dev.log file located in C:\Windows\INFPlease save all requested files in one folder, then right-click -> Send to -> Compressed (zipped) folder, then attach the *.zip file on your next reply.
Hi @shodan,
For RPi device, you can only use our spacedesk HTML5 Viewer page.
HTML5 VIEWER is much slower than our native apps on Android/iOS/Windows.
This is due to technical limitation of HTML5/Javascript.You can also save the HTML5 Viewer page locally so you don’t have to go to viewer.spacedesk.net over the internet every time you want to connect.
Hi @multi-cat,
Are you using the most recent spacedesk driver v1.0.14 and Android Viewer app v0.9.76?
Does the transparent square appears upon viewer connect? Can you please send us the screenshot of the full screen showing the transparent square + software keyboard issue?
The first screenshots you sent is a bit unclear to us.Hi @chaos_02,
Thanks for sending the requested files.
Which device has the error code 8?
Could you please send us the screenshot of this device with error code?Hi @mpl,
But I need to use some Android Apps on my tablet in the Spacedesk viewer. The problem is that I don’t know how to open Android App in the Spacedesk viewer.
This is not possible. spacedesk Viewer app don’t have access to any third party applications installed on your android tablet.
spacedesk Viewer app only receives Desktop screen update from your server primary machine and sends back remote input(e.g. touch, keyboard) to server primary machine over your local area network.Hi @shodan,
Unfortunately, using VLC as spacedesk viewer is not possible.
spacedesk Server will not recognize it because it is not ours.Hi @chaos_02,
For further analysis, could you please send us the following:
– run dxdiag.exe on your primary machine, click “Save all information” and send us the output file
– spacedeskSetup.log file located in C:\Users\Public
– setupapi.dev.log file located in C:\Windows\INFHi @julie,
Please check your email, we have sent you a message regarding your SDK inquiry.Hi @sblantipodi,
The space between the tray icons will become a bit wider when Windows detects a touch driver being installed, with spacedesk it will be the spacedesk virtual HID device.
This is a default Windows behavior.Just try to connect a spacedesk viewer then send a touch input and it will automatically plug our spacedesk virtual HID device underneath spacedesk virtual Bus device in device manager, then if Windows detects it the spacing between tray icons will happen.

Hi @minhamae1,
spacedesk does not support Windows 7 any more (Windows 7 life cycle has expired).
Though spacedesk Windows 8.1 driver can still be installed on Windows 7 we cannot guarantee that it will work properly now.
Any driver bugs on our legacy driver (Windows 7/8.1) will not be fixed anymore. We are current focusing on improving and bug fixing our spacedesk driver for Windows 10-latest.
Maybe you could still try some of our suggestions:
– make sure that you have the updated Intel GPU driver
– try with/without aero theme
– when the icon disappears, please check if spacedeskService is still running, just run “services.msc”Hi @alyssonwalker,
Yes, in order to download and use spacedesk, you must meet the minimum system requirements. For an iOS device, it requires at least iOS version 9.3 otherwise you cannot install the spacedesk iOS Viewer app.
Another option is to connect via spacedesk HTML5 Viewer which operates over a web browser.
Just open a web browser (Safari or Google Chrome) then go to http://viewer.spacedesk.net/ and try to connect to the IP address of your Windows 10/8.1 primary machine.
For assistance, please also check the user manual https://forum.spacedesk.netuser-manual/.Hi @ducna,
Current spacedesk Windows Viewer from Microsoft Store does not handle auto-rotation yet.
This is currently the default behavior of Windows rotation on a Windows tablet device.Could you please, check on the display settings of your surface device if the rotation lock is enabled or disabled?
Hi @phxhere,
Did you notice any error notification on primary machine?Do you maybe have splashtop software installed on your primary machine?
If yes, just uninstall the “Virtual Display driver” on Splashtop Wired XDisplay Agent window -> Advanced option.Hi @myron,
It’s happened again. As I type this I can’t move the cursor to the second display on the Android tablet. Windows 10’s display settings shows that there is only one monitor.
Is this with YUV444 compression settings or with task manager displaying in viewer screen?
Hi @mpl,
switching to desktop duplication does not work on your side, right?
Could you please try to right-click the spacedesk tray icon, then select “Clear All Display Settings”.
After that please try reconnect the spacedesk viewer app then switch to desktop duplication.3 9 月, 2021 2:18 上午 回覆至: Is it possible to make spacedesk server listen to specific Interface only? #2155Hi @testcb00,
Ahh now I see what you meant.
Currently spacedesk cannot specify which network interface to use in case there are multiple network interface available in a primary machine, it will always use the default network interface.
spacedesk team had a discussion about it before so I think this will be in our plans but will not be available anytime soon.Hi @mormonmunk,
Did you install the most recent spacedesk Driver v1.0.12 from our website?2 9 月, 2021 8:41 上午 回覆至: Is it possible to make spacedesk server listen to specific Interface only? #2148Hi @testcb00,
I see, so the viewer cannot automatically discover the IP address of your OpenVPN network but you were able to add it manually, right?I think this is a Windows network adapter priority, currently the default network adapter on your primary machine is your WiFi network so the viewer can only auto-discover the IP address of the default network interface (which is your WiFi).
If you want to make your OpenVPN network as default, then you just have to set the automatic metric manually in the network properties.
Just run ncpa.cpl, select the OpenVPN network interface, right-click -> Properties -> Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) -> Properties -> Advanced, then uncheck the Automatic metric and set the value to 1 or 2.Hi @neozhang,
Apologies for delayed reply.
No small scale licensing yet. Current BETA can be used for free until expiry. This applies to business and private users. Future small scale licenses will become available as in-app-purchases from the app stores (Windows/Android/iOS). Possibly there will always be a basic free version, too. Large scale commercial corporate license upon request.Hi @ducna,
We cannot view the image on your URL.
Could you please try to attach a resized image instead?Hello @dagni,
Yes, that is correct.
The network usage will depends on the current screen update on the viewer app.
spacedesk server is sending a compressed images of the screen updates to viewer app. So the bigger the screen update the bigger packet size will be sent over the network.Hi @dieginho15151414,
Thanks for the feedback. Are both primary machine and android tablet still connected on the same local area network?
-i have my primary machine which is my pc, and I’m trying to connect it to my secondaty machine which is mi android tablet, i installed spacedesk on the pc on the website and the spacedesk app con playstore on my tablet, like i specified the android app has the version 0.9.76 and the spacedesk program on my computer has the version 1.0.12.Updated version of spacedesk on both side is good.
But are both machine connected on the same local area network or wifi network?
Can you please try to ping the IP address of your secondary machine from your primary machine to check if both machines are reachable to each other?
To ping, just run Command Prompt on your primary machine then type “ping 192.168.x.x” (check the IP address of your android device which can be found in the wifi settings).
What is current Network band on your primary machine and secondary machine? Are they both connected on 2.4GHz or 5GHz network?Hi @maestro,
Yes, this is the current design of the “Hide taskbar icon” option.
This setting will only be saved during runtime, if your PC restarts then it will reset back to it’s default settings which is unchecked. The server window will always pop up for every viewer connect even if “Hide task bar icon” is already checked. It’s also according to our design since currently we don’t have any security features yet and this pop up window for every viewer connect will alert the user that there’s a new viewer connected.

Do you maybe have splashtop software installed on your primary machine? For further analysis, could you please run dxdiag.exe on your primary machine, click “Save All Information”, then attach the output file (dxdiag.txt) on your next reply.
Hi @ezams,
Thanks for the screen shot.
The driver is already marked for deletion, which means you just have to reboot your primary machine to completely delete the driver.
After reboot, spacedesk should work now on your side.2 9 月, 2021 1:24 上午 回覆至: Is it possible to make spacedesk server listen to specific Interface only? #2135Hi @testcb00,
