I have 2 x old laptops I was going to use as extra screens so I build and tested one then cloned the disk for the second as they are exactly the same laptop model. After cloning I gave the second a different computername etc.
At that point I discovered that when the second starts spacedesk view the first is disconnected. I spotted the Client ID was the same on the SpaceDesk server but found that this ID is not reset by uninstall/install.
I have search the registry and other likely location but cannot find the Client ID in a text form anywhere.
Is there an easy way to change the Client ID to save a complete reload of Windows 10 (the drivers for the old laptop are the tricky part hence cloning).
