hello, first of all, I am appreciated that you guys made this really awesome program 😀
I really like this program, but I have one significant error using this program…
started hotspot on my PC and connected my laptop,
ran the server of the program on the PC, and tried to connect the laptop as a client,
and the client showed me a screen and I move my internet browser from server to client,
the screen of client froze and gave me a message “disconnected by a server” after about 6 mins…
(thank you for the reply in advance)

October 4, 2021 at 6:37 am #3603spacedesk LeaKeymasterHi @majh0,
Thanks for the feedback.
and I move my internet browser from server to client,
Which internet browser did you use in this case?
Is the screen freeze consistently happening only when moving a browser to client screen? Or is it also happening with any window being dragged to the client screen? For further analysis, could you please run dxdiag.exe on your primary machine, click “Save All Information”, then attach the output file (dxdiag.txt) on your next reply.
October 4, 2021 at 11:20 am #3618majh0ParticipantI used Chrome at that time, and I got another problem..
I just clicked the list to connect to primary machine
and it gave me a message connecting to 192.xxx.xxx.x with black screen
but it went back to main screen
so I just tried to connect to it manually typing the IP address, it gave me an error message
‘Invalid address: Local host!’
actually I can’t understand why this got happened..
my laptop tried to connect to server which is located in PC not laptop..

Can you quickly try with our Windows 7 Viewer app v0.9.32? Then check if you get the same connection issue.
You can download it on our website.October 6, 2021 at 9:30 am #3700majh0ParticipantI already did that thing before.. but it gave me a same error..
but I found alternative solution to use this program..
I don’t know why it works doing this thing.. but it actually does
if I tried to connect to server while the power adapter is plugged into laptop, it never connects successfully
but without power adapter, it does nicely
Everytime I need a additional monitor, I use this method and it works fine..
I thought it has nothing to do with the power adapter..
I can upload the video.. if you don’t believe it

Yes please. This will help with our analysis.
Please also include the screen freeze issue too on your video.
Thank you very much!October 7, 2021 at 6:27 am #3730majh0Participantafter reinstalling the server and viewer, I tried to make a video
but now it works fine…
all I did is just reinstalling programs to make a video in the new environment
I just needed your help to use this program properly,
I feel victimized.. xD I really wanted to show this adapter problem and prove that I am not liar.. but it works fine
In my opinion, I think there was a conflict between drivers but I don’t know the exact reason
why this thing gave me that error before…
I will make a video when I get the adapter error again
sorry to bother you
thank you for your supports to solve this problem.

Thanks for sending the video.Could you please send us the following:
1. debugview log on your secondary machine where you run the viewer app.
Just download the debugview app here https://download.sysinternals.com/files/DebugView.zip
Extract the zipped file, run the Dbgview.exe then reproduce the issue on the viewer app and you should find some error traces in debugview (e.g. SA [xxxx:xxx] …), please save it and send to us.2. run dxdiag.exe on your primary machine, click “Save All Information”, then save the output file (dxdiag.txt) and send to us.

or do you need another file to do it…?
just tell me if you need a file or something 🙂
October 15, 2021 at 7:17 am #3957spacedesk LeaKeymasterHi @majh0,
No additional file needed for now. We are still analyzing it.
Do you have third party firewall software on your secondary machine? As for the Windows 7 viewer app, if it cannot discover the server did you at least try to manually enter the IP address?
If not, please try it with the most recent Windows 7 Viewer app v0.9.33.October 16, 2021 at 7:10 am #3964majh0ParticipantI tried to connect the server manually with win7 viewer app v0.9.33.
but it gave me an msg “Invalid entry: Local host”
I have firewall software but I can connect to server with my alternative solution..
anyways thank you for your support 🙂
October 18, 2021 at 3:44 am #3985spacedesk LeaKeymasterHi @majh0,
but it gave me an msg “Invalid entry: Local host”
strange.. this message should only show up if you are trying to connect to its own IP address..
Are you sure you are connecting to the IP address of your primary machine and not the IP address of your secondary machine?October 21, 2021 at 9:59 am #4043majh0ParticipantI am sure I tried to connect to primary machine..
I hope the solution appears soon..
anyways thank you for your support.
