    After installing this app, desktop audio cannot be recorded by recording apps such as OBS Studio and Insights Capture.
    In some cases, the desktop audio is recorded successfully, but the microphone audio is not.
    The indicator in the recording application recognizes the audio.
    Here is what I have tried to remedy the problem.
    If you have any other solutions, please let me know.

    Uninstall Spacedesk and restart PC.
    Restore Windows (restore system before installation)
    Uninstalled the speakers and microphone from Device Manager, then reconnected and installed them.

    installing spacedesk does not change any audio settings. Windows can see an additional spacedesk Speaker Device ONLY WHILE a spacedesk viewer is connected AND the viewer has audio playback (speaker) feature enabled.
    Audio recording fails on which Windows Audio Device exactly?
    – Default Speaker Device (if yes, which device is set as Default Speaker)
    – Application specific Speaker Device (if yes, which application and which speaker device???)
    – Specific spacedesk Virtual Speaker?
    – Specific other Speaker Device?
    – Microphone (this would be very surprising since spacedesk has nothing to do with microphones)?
    Maybe OBS or InsightsCapture are just confused when audio settings change temporarily or permanently. Maybe you need to check their audio device settings and restart them?
