Please make sure that both primary and secondary machine are connected on the same local area network.
If you have a third party firewall software, please make sure that spacedesk or C:\Windows\system32\spacedeskService.exe is included in the exception list for incoming and outgoing connection.
For more details, please check Troubleshooting -> Network Connection chapter in spacedesk user manual https://forum.spacedesk.netuser-manual.September 27, 2021 at 4:32 am #3480GameParticipantHi @Lea

I have firewall software is Avast (Free version).
What should I do, tell me, I’m not very good at these things.September 27, 2021 at 5:10 am #3481spacedesk LeaKeymasterHi @game
We are not very familiar with Avast.
Can you please check if it has its own firewall settings?
And can you quickly try to disable the Avast and check if spacedesk can viewer can discover now your primary machine?September 27, 2021 at 8:03 am #3487September 28, 2021 at 2:43 am #3501spacedesk LeaKeymasterHi @game
Ok, thanks for the feedback.
Next thing to try is thru HTML5 viewer from your iPad.
Just open a web browser (e.g. Safari or Google Chrome) then go http://viewer.spacedesk.net/, then try to connect to the IP address of your primary machine.September 29, 2021 at 12:33 am #3508GameParticipantSeptember 29, 2021 at 3:21 am #3512spacedesk LeaKeymasterHi @game,
What is current network connection type (wired/wireless/USB tethering/WiFi Direct) on your Windows 10 and iPad?
Could you please check on your primary machine if spacedeskService is running?
Just run services.msc, find spacedeskService and check the status. What is the current network profile on your primary machine? Is it Private or Public?
If you are using wireless network, are both primary machine and iPad device connected on the same wifi network with the same network band (2.4Ghz or 5Ghz)?

Could you please try with Private network profile.
I think with Public network, network discovery is switched off.By the way, please try our most recent spacedesk Driver v1.0.16 that we just released on our website https://forum.spacedesk.net.
