    I am trying to use spacedesk for the first time.

    It works, however not usable for my purpose (just having 2 extra monitors on my PC but over the network)

    I would like to try using VLC as the spacedesk viewer (instead of the current HTML5 viewer which is too slow and unable to be automated)

    Hi @shodan,
    Unfortunately, using VLC as spacedesk viewer is not possible.
    spacedesk Server will not recognize it because it is not ours.
