    Was there a continuous screen update in spacedesk display when the low bandwidth error appeared?
    Does it always happen now even without torrent downloads in the background?

    As for the AMD graphics driver crash, does it always happen now?
    Did it crash while spacedesk is connected? or disconnected?

    Thanks for the feedback.
    Next, please try to uninstall the old spacedesk Driver v1050 on your machine first, before installing the latest version.
    You can do this by any of the methods below:
    – running the v1050 msi installer -> select Remove
    – opening the Windows Settings -> Apps -> Installed apps, find spacedesk Windows DRIVER and uninstall it
    After uninstall, please reboot your machine, then try the v1057 msi installer again.
    Then let us know the result.

    I was about to take Photo’s of the display settings and the laptop screen, fired them both up click on Spacedesk and all working as it should do, like it use to. No idea why it happened like it did, I never did any alterations to anything !!!!!!

    Hi Lea – none of those choices worked. I ended up re-installing Win10 Pro and that actually fixed the problem. So I’m all set now. Not sure if it was a SpaceDesk issue at all.

    Ok I followed your steps and I was told that you can not remove the old version (at least the spacedesk app). In addition, the program what you prescribed me reported that it could not remove it. I am sending you all the materials that came to me when I tried this. I am sending the new setupapi.dev_.log file just to be on the safe side. Can imagine that it can help you Lea.

    Hi thanks for the reply and sorry for the delay in responding.

    The Laptop I am using is a vivo notepad that can be used as a tablet or a pc. This all worked fine with spacedesk for maybe 3 years BUT I noticed when checking that the Operating system has changed from Windows 10 to windows 11. After a lot of checking etc it appears that windows 11 does not allow this laptop to be used as a tablet, but even so I have used in the past the same laptop in laptop format with spacedesk and all worked perfect. For whatever reason the windows Display Screen on the PRIMARY screen will only show a greyed out smaller screen for this laptop and does not allow me to adjust the screen size unlike all the other screens I have that use Spacedesk !!

    Could you please try to run the Microsoft Troubleshooter program which you can download here:

    Run the “MicrosoftProgram_Install_and_Uninstall.meta.diagcab”, select Uninstalling.
    If “spacedesk Windows DRIVER” is not on the program list, just select “Not Listed” then paste the product code of the spacedesk Driver v1050 here: {F2F9F523-C420-4596-BBA7-987BF40E5583}

    After that, please reboot your primary machine then try again to install the latest spacedesk msi installer from the website.

    Ok, I get it now.
    spacedesk can still be installed on old versions of Windows 10 as long as it’s version 1607 – above.
    Please check the Windows 10 version by running „winver“ to check your current Windows 10 version.

    By the way, does your PC also freezes upon spacedesk disconnect even without any game application running?

    In the recent spacedesk Driver version, we already have native Android USB cable connection supported.
    Just enable it via spacedesk Driver Console -> Communication Interfaces -> Android USB Cable, then plug your Android device USB cable to your primary machine.
    Can you please try with USB cable connection and check if the PC freeze will still happen?

    Thank you very much for the suggestion.
    Any updates in spacedesk Windows 10 Viewer will not be available anytime soon.

    If you like you can use the Windows 7 (desktop version v0.9.39), this viewer at least does not have the pop-up notification upon exiting from remote control.

    Hi @senseyi,

    The „low network bandwidth“ notification is a new feature. We just recently add it in our spacedesk Server to notify the user in case there’s a network congestion between server and client.
    It’s possible that even if you have a good/stable wireless connection, from time to time there is a possibility of network drop.

    Hi @ace172,
    Is the issue still happening with the most recent spacedesk Driver v1057?

    For the stretched screen, please try to switch the resolution of your iPad screen via display settings of your primary machine. From the native resolution to 1920×1080 (a few times maybe).

    For the mirror option, have you tried with Windows logo key + P to switch to duplicate?

    Did you recently upgrade your Windows 10 operating system?
    Could you please check if you have any pending Windows update in your PC settings?

    It seems that the spacedesk SERVER is crashing.
    We will analyze and try to reproduce it.

    In the meantime, can you also check without MAWi server/Monitors Anywhere.
    Only use the spacedesk Driver COnsole for your Videowall configuration and check if the spacedesk OFF will still happen.

    Who’s getting 2 different IP address? Andoid phone or your PC?
    Does spacedesk Viewer detects 2 IP addresses of your primary machine?

    So i am connected to the internet using a USB-connection to my android phone to share wifi and right now i am having some problems with this. They are getting 2 diffrent ip adresses but they are still on the same network.
    Is there any quick fix or how i change the ip adresses to the same adress or if i can activate LAN on my android?

    Just follow the steps below:

    – if Debug View is not available, please click the download button first
    – switch Diagnostic Collection ON (make sure to click Yes in the User Account Control box to proceed)
    – try to connect your viewer app and reproduce the black screen issue
    – switch Diagnostic Collection OFF
    – click Save All Information button (just select „No“ if a dialog box appears)
    PS: Saving all information will take a few seconds, then please send us the whole folder which contains all the diagnostic logs collected.

    Do you have several applications open/running in the background while trying to install spacedesk?
    Is the current overall memory usage in your task manager, high?

    Can you try to reboot your PC, then don’t open any applications yet, just run the spacedesk installer and check if it will succeed.
    If it fails, please send us the updated setupapi.dev.log file located in C:\Windows\INF (unfortunately the previous one you sent don’t have the traces of spacedesk installation), maybe also include other recent setupapi.xxx.log files too.

    Hi @brianlinder2,

    Are you opening 2 instances of spacedesk Windows Viewer on the same PC and connecting it with different resolution?
    Which spacedesk Windows Viewer app are you using? Is it the Windows 10 Microsoft store version? Or the Windows 7 Desktop version 0.9.39?

    In any case, there’s no command shortcut to save the session with different resolution settings.
    spacedesk Windows Viewer app only remembers the last configuration.
    If you like, you can open one Windows 7 Viewer app with resolution #1 set, and open the Windows 10 Viewer (from Microsoft Store) with resolution #2 set.

    It seems that you have a Virtual Desktop (from https://www.vrdesktop.net/) installed in your primary machine.
    This software seems to have incompatibility issue with spacedesk.
    We were able to reproduce the same Display Off issue after installing the Virtual Desktop then reboot.

    Please try this workaround steps to make it work with spacedesk:
    – open device manager in your primary machine
    – go to Display adapters and right-click Enable device the “Virtual Desktop Monitor”
    – open spacedesk Driver Console then switch the spacedesk SERVER OFF-ON

    If the steps above did not help, then only option is to uninstall the Virtual Desktop app then reboot your primary machine.

    Hi @matheusrls,

    Could you please check the following:
    1. Check your WiFi router settings if it has client isolation enabled.
    This setting prevents direct communication between connected devices/computers.
    2. Do you have VPN (Virtual Private Network) active? If yes, please disable it.
    3. Are you using any third-party antivirus/firewall? if yes, please add spacedesk in the exception list or ‚Allow List‘
    4. Check on your iOS Viewer Settings -> Privacy -> Local Network, if spacedesk is on the list and enabled?

    Hello everyone! I recently purchased a Razer Kishi and I would love to use it fully on my PC with SpaceDesk. I’ve been able to configure the D-pad and left stick, but the rest of the buttons seem to be ignored. I really enjoy using SpaceDesk and I was wondering if there’s a way to use the Kishi fully while still being able to take advantage of SpaceDesk. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    I always need the same two SpaceDesk windows open, with different resolutions. Each time, I have to open SpaceDesk, select the right resolution and connect. It works.

    But, is there a way to have a command shortcut or save a session so I don’t have to go through all of these steps each time?

    Hi @sakigokmen,
    It seems that you have the „second screen only“ set as desktop mode.

    You can easily attach your main display by switching to extension/duplication mode.
    Just open the display settings window, in the multiple display dropdown menu, just select „Extend..“ or „Duplicate..“ OR via display switch, just press Windows logo key + P hotkey then select Extend or Duplicate.

    I searched the issue on the internet and Spacedesk’s own forum but couldn’t find a solution. When I connect to the PC with the Spacedesk Android application, it makes a 1 second connection, but the connection drops immediately. Can you help me?

    No, there were no such notifications. The only notification is an error: „lost connection to wireless screen“, which appears when the connection is lost. Up to this point there are no problems. After a few seconds (most often), the connection is restored without additional manipulations.
    With an active wireless monitor, downloading a torrent and other network activity, the network load does not exceed 100-120 Mbps, the entire network is 1 Gbps, i.e. throughput is 8-10 times higher than the current load.
    The fastest way to achieve connection loss is in the following scenario:
    1. The wireless monitor is active on the PC;
    2. PC is downloading 3-4 torrents;
    3. Connect to a PC via remote access (eg AnyDesk).
    In this case, the dump occurs in 99% of cases, sometimes it does not recover itself, you have to break the connection and reconnect.

    The router is powerful, with a bandwidth above 5 Gigabit / s, but anyway, I assumed that the reason could be in it and installed 1 more separate router, which distributes the network only for the tablet on which the wireless monitor is active, does nothing else.

    The problem persisted.

    Did you notice any Warning notification from spacedesk on either primary machine or viewer app when downloading torrents (before disconnection happen)?
    The notification should be something like this: „Warning – The network bandwidth is low and the screen sharing can be unstable.“

    Hi @flyingmonkey,

    We have a previous spacedesk users that verified that MS Flight Simulator does NOT support/recognize touchscreen input in general.
    And according to that user, it can only recognize mouse pointer input from a remote display.

    We can only suggest either of the following:
    1. Use mouse touch which automatically activates on your second viewer connection.
    Current spacedesk’s touchscreen only supports in first spacedesk display, so on your first viewer app just activate touch screen first, then connect a second viewer app where you can move your flight simulator app and try to send the mouse touch input from there.

    2. Select relative touch input in your viewer app settings (the touch input will behave as mouse pad for your primary machine).

    As for Windows calc and MS Edge, it should recognize the remote touch input (absolute).
    Are you sure it did not work with these apps?

    Good afternoon!
    The problem is the following:
    1. Spacedesk server on Windows 10;
    2. connected at 1 Gigabit/sec to a Wi-Fi router, tablet connected at 5 GHz as a second monitor in extension mode.
    Everything works properly until you start downloading torrents (the more torrents at the same time, the faster the connection disappears with a notification of a loss of connection). And interruptions begin in the form – disconnected – connected, sometimes the tablet itself does not want to connect back, you have to manually disconnect the connection and restore it. Sometimes this happens if you open an online video in a browser on a computer.
    If you do not touch the computer, do not download torrents – everything works stably for weeks.
    At the same time, the network from the machine to the router is entirely 1 Gigabit, according to Windows, the network load does not exceed 100-120 Megabits in both directions…

    If you copy something heavy over the network from computer to computer, or watch a 80-100 GB movie from a server on a set-top box (another PC), everything is ok, nothing falls off, everything is stable.
    The situation has been observed since 1 day of using the Spacedesk application, with updates to the current version, outages have become less frequent, but they are still observed.

    Yesterday I connected 2 tablets to a PC, one via USB, the second via Wi-Fi, downloaded 2-3 torrents, after 3 minutes the tablet turned off via Wi-Fi (a notification about the loss of connection on the PC was displayed), the USB tablet continued to work stably.
    At the moment the connection with the tablet is disconnected, the Internet on the PC also temporarily disappears, as soon as the connection is restored, the Internet continues to work stably.

    I think the simulator app is not automatically rescaling its user interface everytime there’s a display change event in the primary machine.

    Remote touch input from spacedesk Android Viewer app should work.
    Did you enable the Touch screen control (with Absolute touch type) in the viewer’s Input Devices settings?

    Display scaling stays the same.

    Connecting to the remote monitors before starting the simulator seems to prevent the offset. This is a good workaround for me as long as I remember.

    Interesting note. If I connect to remote monitors and then start the simulator there is no offset. However, if I disconnect while the simulator is running the offset occurs.

    This is curious behavior, but I have a way to prevent it now. If you need more info on this to work the issue, please let me know.

    Unrelated question. The kindles I am using are touchscreens. I have tried to use them as input devices, but they don’t seem to work. Does SpaceDesk provide the capability to pass inputs from remote devices? The OS on these devices is Fire OS, a proprietary version of Android created by Amazon.

    Have you tried dragging the opened window to the extension display?
    Just open the display settings window so that you can see the position of the spacedesk display from your main display then drag the window to that direction.

    Ok. Can you quickly check if the display scaling in your main monitor before and after spacedesk connect is always set to 150%?

    Also try to reopen the simulator app after spacedesk connect, and check if the offset issue still occurs.
